With extensive experience spanning over several decades, Peter Shaheen is a highly accomplished attorney who has been practicing in both the State and Federal Courts of Massachusetts since 1982 and in New Hampshire since 1986. His primary focus is on helping business owners successfully navigate the intricate landscape of the business world.

Peter Shaheen specializes in providing legal counsel to a diverse range of clients, including family-owned businesses, small business owners, and professionals with private practices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He understands the unique challenges faced by these clients and works diligently to help them achieve their goals.

Operating from his reputable law firm in North Andover, Peter also provides comprehensive legal guidance to families and individuals on various legal matters. This includes areas such as estate planning, real estate, and probate in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. His expertise extends beyond business law, allowing him to cater to the diverse needs of his clients.

Peter is also CFO and general counsel to Shaheen Bros., Inc. a broad-line food service distributor located in Amesbury, Massachusetts. This family business has been successfully serving the food service industry for over 80 years.

In addition to his private practice, Peter has a distinguished history of serving the community. He previously served as legal counsel to one of the largest private nonprofit social services charities in the Merrimack Valley. Furthermore, he has contributed to the Town of North Andover as Town Counsel and as a member of the Advisory Board. Currently, he serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club and was a founding member of the North Andover Rotary Club. He is an active member of professional associations such as the New Hampshire Bar Association, The Lawrence Bar Association, and the Real Estate Bar Association.

Peter also handles legal matters related to commercial leasing for PBJ Development Corporation. His expertise in this area further solidifies his ability to address various business-related legal needs.

Beyond his professional achievements, Peter Shaheen enjoys a variety of personal interests. He is an avid fan of Boston sports, and finds pleasure in playing golf, exploring nature through hiking, and engaging in travel adventures. He is also an enthusiastic reader. Describing himself as principled, hardworking, unpretentious, thorough, and a good listener, Peter takes pride in being a dedicated family man. Since 1982, he and his wife have resided in North Andover, Massachusetts, where they have raised three children. They deeply value the town’s small-town charm, the multitude of youth opportunities it offers, its commitment to historic preservation, and its unwavering support for senior citizens.
