About Nicholas S. Guerrera

For more than twenty-five years, Nicholas has prosecuted and defended cases involving complex medical, technical business and legal issues in state and federal trial courts in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He has successfully represented individuals injured in car accidents, on construction sites, and in other workplace settings.

As part of his litigation practice, Nicholas represents individuals and businesses on compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and its regulations concerning access to places of public accommodation.

Through his representation of disabled persons, Nicholas has brought about improved wheelchair access to hospitals, hotels, supermarkets, banks, and restaurants and to government programs and services, such as public transportation systems, community centers, and city and town halls.

Nicholas also has successfully defended owners and operators of restaurants, supermarkets, and convenience stores in cases alleging discrimination due to barriers to wheelchair access.

As a certified mediator and conciliator with the Essex County Bar Association Conciliation Program, Nicholas brings exceptional negotiation skills to his litigation practice.

Nicholas lives with his wife, Susan Guerrera, and their two sons in North Andover, Massachusetts.
